My overall rating for the Uesugi Clan is this: I absolutely love these guys. He takes third place for aesthetics, but that doesn’t change how very dear he is to me. I don’t know what that giant shoulder boa is. I do like Kenshin’s Awakened self, but the clothes kind of ruin it for me. Few of the Awakenening events since Kenshin have made me feel more like a princess that in his, and I am guilty of occasionally returning to it just to read through it again.
Kagemochi’s event speaks to the more primal feelings of the fangirls, and Kenshin appeals to our romantic notions. Kenshin’s was the second ever Awakening event I triggered, and my internal fangirl was blushing, squealing, fainting from blood rushing to face and everything in-between.
